The Application Fee is non-refundable but is transferrable for one year. The Examination Fee is refundable if the Candidate notifies the ABOS in writing at least 5 days prior to the Examination that they are withdrawing. The Late Fee is not refundable.

Those who submit their application after the application deadline but before the late deadline will automatically be charged the late fee. There is no need to contact the ABOS to request the late deadline.
